NEW Panel view: Overview & details at a glance
Version 10.1 introduces a new view in codeBeamer ALM. For a quick overview on your items, use the panel view that combines the granular insights of the detailed view with the bird’s eye perspective of the list view. Please note that in 10.1 the panel view is read-only!

Suspected changes history: Control the impact of changes
See a summary of all changes made on a particular item since the item was first marked as having a suspected link. This cumulative list of changes is easy to overview, enabling you to follow up on all changes of that particular item for more efficient impact/change control.

Review improvements: Gain confidence in managing approvals
Using the item-based review rather than the Review Hub? There’s a new review filter that gives you a summary of all your item-based reviews in one place.
For Review Hub users, an update enables moderators to easily update (add or remove) items waiting for review when restarting a review or while the review is running. You no longer have to open the review to access statistics: just hover over the analytics icon in the summary view to access review statistics.
Deployment improvements: Protecting your production environment
For admins managing complex project structures, 10.1 now provides the ability to export project dependencies. This way, admins can safely and efficiently update background workflows on a test server before deploying to production the new project configurations and dependencies.

Expert filter mode: Access detailed insights
Using this mode, you can now combine default filters with expert filtering written in codeBeamer’s proprietary query language cBQL. This enables granular and flexible filtering options on all your data stored in the platform.
Table view with embedded fields: See all attributes at once
We have updated the table view to display table-type fields. Using version 10.1, the table view is able to show you a complete overview of your items’ attributes.

Document view updates: Speed & usability
Managing large volumes of data? In codeBeamer ALM 10.1, we have significantly improved the performance of the document view. You can now load 27,000 items in 2 seconds. Besides performance, we have also updated this view in terms of usability. Using this version, you’ll be able to access the same folder structure in table view as in document view.
Test management updates: Supporting Product QA
To facilitate testing and error handling, you can now simply copy test case/test run properties to newly generated bugs. Automated test step importing is now available to rule out duplications.

Still using 9.5? Here’s why you should upgrade to 10.1:
If you’re working with large volumes of data and are looking for transparency and performance in your product development processes, codeBeamer ALM 10.1 is the right choice for you!
In the versions since 9.5, we have improved the system to enable the fast and structured management of large batches of development data, with updated views providing transparency even in a scaled environment. Using the new panel view, users can get a quick and efficient overview of items and all their details. With the revamped item review, users (including QA team members) get an easy-to-filter list of the items waiting for their approval. We have also updated the platform’s testing functionality for easier bug reporting.
What’s new since version 9.5:
Advanced Traceability View: Visualize full lifecycle traceability
It is now possible to visualize full lifecycle traceability across all levels including the Test Runs in the traceability browser view. In addition to this, users can now also leverage the dashboard capabilities of codeBeamer ALM with the availability of Traceability Browser widget.
Project Export Encryption: Secure Data Exchange
Ensuring data security during project export is vital. codeBeamer ALM 10.1 can now export encrypted project data safeguarded with a username and password. Upon project import, the system checks if data (either the XML file or the encrypted link) has been modified, preventing the import of corrupted data.

Automated Workflow Actions: Automating your process and eliminating the errors
Redundant work can be time-consuming and error-prone if done manually. With the availability of enhanced automated workflows in codeBeamer 10.1, it is now possible to execute predefined sets of actions in workflows, avoiding the need for manual entry.
State transitions have become more intelligent in this version. If guard conditions are not executed properly, the state transition is prevented, and the item returns to its original state.
Cluster Edition: High Availability & Scalability
For organizations with growing teams and volumes of data, it can become challenging to ensure scalability and scaled performance. The Cluster Edition makes it possible to scale the infrastructure to accommodate hundreds or thousands of users and millions of records in the system. Using codeBeamer ALM’s Cluster Edition, it is possible to maintain optimal performance in a scaled enterprise environment using both horizontal and vertical scaling.

Permanent Links: Share information with your project members
Want to share a page, report, or data that you see in codeBeamer ALM with other users? With the new Permanent links functionality in codeBeamer 10.1, it is possible to share exactly what you see on your screen. Send shareable links without bypassing permissions to enhance collaboration.

Important notice
Please note that codeBeamer ALM 10.1 is not a Long-term Supported (LTS) release. No Validation Kit will be provided for this version.
