In most work environments in the realm of software development, most of us have to handle multiple projects. Managing several projects (usually, each of them of high complexity on their own) is a task where efficiency is vital: one could waste valuable time just trying to stay on top of the progress made in each project, and that’s without digging deep into the details of each. Therefore, having a clear overview of the progress of all your projects and being able to track the tasks therein is invaluable, as it offers transparency with all your projects.
In our webinar, we’ll showcase the features of codeBeamer’s Project Browser, a highly advanced tool that helps you organize and handle multiple projects. The customizable dashboard and new visual layout will enable you to categorize, filter and display your projects any way you want them, helping you effectively manage several processes.
The custom visualization and categorization features let you choose colors of your liking for your projects’ tiles on the dashbpard, and the new tile icons can also be enlarged for better visibility – just resize important items so that they’re more prominent on your dashboard. The Browser lets you set up custom categories for your projects, so you can group them by relevance. A smart new feature in the Project Browser is the “Filter by status” function, letting you group your projects based on their progress. Projects in green are progressing just fine; yellow calls your attention to projects that you’d better keep an eye on, while the red color serves as an alert that means these projects need urgent attention.
