STUTTGART, GERMANY, 9 JUL 2018 – Intland Software releases the latest version 9.2 of codeBeamer ALM, its market-leading Application Lifecycle Management platform. This new version of codeBeamer ALM introduces advanced branch management, an all-new story plan feature, and updated audit trail reports as well as performance and security improvements.
9.2 further improves codeBeamer’s versatile Branching functionality to let users create branches based on a selected, filtered list of trackers or other branches. Enabling permissions, references, and the analysis of test coverage information even across branches, the updated functionality greatly facilitates the reuse of work items in product line management.
The updated release planner in this new version brings User Story Mapping to help users focus on and manage relevant bits of functionality throughout the process of development. Users can apply story plan to group work items based on any attribute to create stories. Items in these stories can then be prioritized and visualized, managed, and rearranged across releases as a single group.
Audit Trail Reports got a complete makeover in the new version to allow the logging of global activities in the entire codeBeamer instance. User logins and logouts, all executed actions (updates to work items, documents, or fields, etc), and permission changes are all recorded, greatly simplifying compliance audit preparations. System administrators can filter reports for a certain date range, project, tracker type, or user, and export reports to PDF or Excel.
