Intland Software proudly announces the ‘Trusted Tool’ certification of its codeBeamer ALM 9.5! This updated qualification by internationally recognized testing body TÜV NORD certifies that codeBeamer’s version 9.5 meets the tool requirements listed in IEC 61508 and ISO 26262.
Excellence in product quality has always been crucial for Intland Software, as evidenced by the company’s ISO 9001 certification and previous ‘Trusted Tool’ marks. In August 2016, codeBeamer ALM’s version 8.0 received its first certification by TÜV NORD, providing users with assurance that the tool was compliant with the highest safety standards.
As a result of Intland’s ongoing efforts for organizational excellence and quality product innovation, that certification has now been renewed for version 9.5!
With this ‘Trusted Tool’ certification, users developing safety-critical end products are reassured that codeBeamer ALM adequately supports software development in compliance with the requirements of ISO 26262:2018 and IEC 61508:2010. The certification qualifies codeBeamer ALM for the requirements of the latest, 2018 edition of the automotive safety standard ISO 26262.
Based on thorough analysis, codeBeamer ALM 9.5 has been awarded a maximum-level confidence of TCL 2 / ASIL D (ISO 26262) or SIL 3 (IEC 61508).
