Janos Koppany, CEO (Co-founder)

Since co-founding Intland in 1998 jointly with his brother Zsolt, Janos has piloted the transformation of the company from a source code analysis tool provider to one of the most innovative collaborative software solution companies. With more than two decades of experience in R&D, product management, services, sales management, and overall executive management in the software industry, Janos’ cross-functional business approach has been instrumental in building a market-driven company. In his role as CEO, Janos is responsible for strategy, marketing and sales.

Prior to starting Intland, Janos founded and developed Multix Software GmbH. He continued his work with Multix Sotware until the company’s highly successful divestment to Cygnus Solutions (subsequently acquired by Red Hat). At Cygnus Solutions he became Director of Marketing and Sales, Germany. Before Multix Software he was a researcher at Hungary’s Central Physical Research Institute and worked as an engineer at various leading German companies including Nixdorf. He received his M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Budapest.

Zsolt Koppany, CTO (Co-founder)

Since co-founding Intland in 1998, Zsolt, as its Chief Technology Officer, has led the company in creating one of the most comprehensive and innovative collaborative software solutions on the market. Zsolt is responsible for global software engineering and professional consulting services.

Zsolt has over 20 years of experience in architecting and delivering world-class software solutions in rapidly changing environments.

He also was co-founder of Multix Software GmbH. While CTO of Multix, it became the best selling high-value product Source Navigator with over 20,000 licenses sold worldwide. Prior to Intland and Multix, he worked in various engineering positions at recognized European IT companies. He received his M.S. in Electrical Engineering  from the Technical University of Budapest.

Charles Jarvis, VP of Sales

As VP Worldwide Sales Charles brings many years experience of creating, leading and managing successful sales & marketing teams internationally for high technology, early stage companies. Originally an Engineer, Charles spent a number of years in Asia Pacific focusing on CAD/CAM/CAE/PLM system sales. He returned to the UK to manage the European Operations of open source pioneers Cygnus Solutions (now Red Hat) hence his current location in “Silicon Fen”, Cambridge. Charles has since led international teams for Persistence Software (successful IPO), Tangosol (acquired by Oracle), Platform Computing (acquired by IBM) and MetraTech (acquired by Ericsson).

Charles holds a MA from Oxford University in Engineering Science.

Nancy Chou, Head of Marketing and Sales, North America

Nancy is responsible for North America sales and marketing. She is a seasoned business strategist, an experienced marketing professional, and a social-media-certified strategist with more than 25 years of B2B and B2C experience at Fortune 500 and startup companies, including HP, IBM, the Norton Consumer Business Unit of Symantec Corp, and Cygnus Solutions (a Red Hat acquisition). Previously, she was a VP of marketing for a number of Silicon-Valley-based startups, including Sigaba (acquired by Proofpoint) and a marketing instructor at Stanford University’s Continuing Studies Program.

Nancy was a Chevron USA scholar. She received her MBA in marketing from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. She earned a B.S., magna cum laude, in Business Management with a minor in Economics from California State University, Northridge.
