DOORS and ReqIF support
To accommodate workflows relying on the legacy tools used in automotive, pharma, industrial automation, and other industries, Intland Retina 3.2 brings updated data import from IBM® Rational® DOORS® and data exchange using the ReqIF format!
IBM® Rational® DOORS® integration
Use Retina to modernize your DOORS-based toolset without disrupting existing processes, or replace DOORS for lower costs! For users wanting to continue using DOORS as their requirements management tool and Retina for testing, risk management or ticketing, this new integration simplifies parallel use. Use the new tracker or workspace-level import to easily synchronize data from DOORS to Intland Retina!
Importing requirements from IBM DOORS includes:
- Attributes, artifacts, link mapping (internal & external) and item status
- OLE objects, tables, nested tables, and images
- Maintaining rich text formatting (bold, italic, underline, font colors, strikethrough, or superscript)
- One-to-one mapping of fields between IBM DOORS and Retina
- Re-import requirements from DOORS with all changes highlighted
ReqIF export/import capabilities
ReqIF (the Requirements Interchange Format) is a format standardized by the automotive sector and also used in other industries. ReqIF enables the simple, standardized exchange of requirements, tests, or other work items (along with their relations) across tools. You can simply export the contents of your workspaces (using filters or conditions to specify which artifacts to include in the export) and reuse them in other tools that support ReqIF. Import data from other tools to an existing or a new workspace in Retina, enabling interoperability between ReqIF-supporting platforms.
