Review Hub improvements
Users will appreciate the range of features we have implemented in the Review Hub. One of these improved features is the extension of the reject comment window with additional information. This allows the reviewer to accurately reflect on the rejected item by having access to the work item’s description and other fields, and the previous review comments, while writing the rationale.
Another update includes status mapping for the non-review items, or for the items with mixed results, therefore shortening review times. This means that the reviewer can mass-edit the Status change for the items with mixed results or no results, in one step.
We also improved the Review Hub page extension with search and order capabilities, which enables the user to find certain reviews easier in the list by ordering and searching capabilities of the review attributes. We have also added item-based review statistics, which means that each participant’s review decision is displayed for each selected item.
Editable description field during merge
Editable description field during merge would be applied when there is an association between two work items and one of the items is changed, and the user wants to merge the changes with modification. Editable wikitext type fields during merging data between two work items enable the users to edit the content during the merge process. During a merge, the user has the option to keep one or the other field’s content, or now has the possibility to edit the merged field’s content before saving it.
Reviewer license update
Users with the Reviewer license type can make appropriate decisions in reviews by having read access to everything in the workspace. This is valuable to the user if they want to participate in the review process with a reviewer license type.
Merge cockpit
There is a new overview page, called Merge Cockpit. On this page, you can inspect all changes in your chosen workspace’s trackers. No need to go through trackers anymore. This page can come in handy when there are multiple suspected links in multiple trackers which need to be handled.
