Understand codebeamer’s new version naming convention!
From December 2020 on, we’ll be using the
following approach for naming new versions of codebeamer:
Note: codebeamer is shipped without a database. Unless otherwise noted in the release notes, Oracle 19 and MySQL 5.7 are supported. You’ll need to install either of these to use codebeamer! (Oracle 12, PostgreSQL 11, and MySQL 8 may be used for evaluation, however, they are not recommended for production use.)
Information on LTS releases:
Certain versions of our products are marked as Long-term Support (LTS) releases. With LTS releases, there is more testing and bug fixing in place to increase focus on the release’s performance and stability. LTS versions are supported for 2 years after the date of release.

Remember, your project, configurations, etc. can be migrated from your evaluation copy to your purchased license, so you will not lose any of the work done during the evaluation period!
After the purchase process is complete, your sales representative will send you a License Code. Please paste that License Code to codebeamer to enable you to use the functionality you have purchased. That’s it, you’re all set, welcome to the codebeamer family!
