The new buzzword for industry in Germany is Industry 4.0. This term is used for Germany’s high tech strategy, subtitled “the success of the German economic performance”. Deutsche Bank recently published a research report with the title “Upgrading Germany’s industrial capabilities on the horizon”. The report begins with the fact that Germany has been and will remain the leading industrial player in Europe, producing one-third of the EU’s added value.
