October 9, 2003 - More than 4,700 students, including about 500 graduate students, come to ACU from 50 states and 60 countries. We have a diverse and global environment, which we believe enriches student learning. Our students are served by about 200 faculty members who focus on high-quality teaching, scholarship and service.
ACU's Web Integration and Programming (WIP) creates custom programs for the University but also integrates existing or purchased programs. The emphasis is increasingly on unifying access for ACU students and employees to important information through a single interface. WIP's activities are prescribed by a priorities group that considers strategic technology and business needs for the University. Because Codebeamer both works with eclipse and cvs for programmers and has tracking and reporting features for management, it is actually useful to both groups; instead of adding an additional layer of work, it facilitates communication, provides a central repository for documents, and keeps a record of discussions related to projects.
